On 11th December 2017 the Digital Humanities workshop had its third meeting. Current topics and projects were discussed, and the members were informed about sponsoring opportunities and regional, national and European activities.
The meeting’s highlight was a lecture by professor Holger Simon. He talked about reasons, changes and strategies of digital transformation, which poses a challenge to all cultural institutions. Professor Dr Holger Simon is the managing director of Pausanio GmbH & Co. KG, the agency for digital cultural communication. In 2014, he was awarded the honour to be one of 39 “digital brains in Germany” by the German Informatics Society and the German Federal Ministry for Education and Research.
